At the start of the COVID outbreak, AMRA moved quickly to set up an AMRA Helpline and established a list of volunteers willing to assist those who were shielding or otherwise vulnerable with shopping and other assistance. This was open to both Members and non-Members and has been a considerable success.

 

Although life is gradually returning to normal we intend to continue with this service for the time being - for instance if someone needs a lift to a vaccination centre or still requires assistance with shopping for whatever reason.
